Top 10 reasons why women get fatter despite dieting!

  1. They have cereal for breakfast with skimmed milk for breakfast. The refined grains are just not compatible with weight loss and the skimmed milk has all the good nutrients taken out of it. You are better off eating the cardboard box – it has more nutrition!
  2. They eat too much of the wrong kind of chocolate! Milk chocolate just piles on the pounds. Dark chocolate (80%) is much better for you (in moderation). Try eating 1-2 chunks every 3-4 days.
  3. They drink coffee after training. Coffee is great pre-training, horrendous post training. Coffee raises cortisol which you only need when you train, not after. Afterwards it increases belly fat.
  4. They follow a low fat diet, fearing that fat makes you fat. In the process, they avoid nutrient dense foods like avocados that would help much faster. Good fats are necessary for a healthy metabolism. Careful selection of nuts (blanched almonds, cashews) and avocados are good additions to your protein filled plates.
  5. They consume soy products that contain toxic levels of manganese – no good for vital brain function. Eat soy in moderation and try to have MSG-free dishes when going to a Chinese restaurant.
  6. They eat bagels because they are low fat! Full of grains which aren’t good for fat loss.
  7. They don’t make time for themselves. Here is the best fat loss tip for women: take a week off just for you, no boyfriend/partner/husband and no kids.
  8. They consume grains. Part of a healthy and balanced fat backside!
  9. They use beauty products loaded with harmful chemicals such as parabenes.
  10. They are often too stressed – this raises cortisol levels which increases belly fat.
