Profhilo – the Super Skin Booster
Maybe I’m giving away my own age here, but it seems like yesterday that Baz Luhrmann came out with his hit song, giving advice to the graduating class of 1997.
His top tip was to wear sunscreen – and actually, I’m going to get back to that in a future email! – but his #2 tip was this:
“Enjoy the power and beauty of your youth, oh, never mind You will not understand the power and beauty of your youth Until they’ve faded, but trust me, in 20 years, you’ll look back At photos of yourself and recall in a way you can’t grasp now How much possibility lay before you and how fabulous you really looked.”
Well, it’s fair to say that a great number of my patients feel exactly that way. They hit their 40s, look in the mirror and wonder: Who on earth is that person with creases in their neck…. whose skin is beginning to loosen, and will probably start sagging at some point soon? Hold on, is that a wrinkle? Why does my skin feel both drier and thinner than it used to?
…And where did the ‘old’ me go?
The “power and beauty of their youth” has not faded quite yet – but the first signs are there.
Naturally, you want to hit ‘pause’ on the process for as long as possible.
Over the past decade, the aesthetic industry has come such a long way in helping people do just that. There are more advanced treatments coming out every month to help you retain your youthful looks.
Today I want to tell you about the latest leap forward.
You may have heard me mention hyaluronic acid before. This gel-like molecule holds water, so it helps hydrate and plump up your skin and maintain skin elasticity. It’s already in your body, but unfortunately, it is degraded on a daily basis.
To introduce hyaluronic acid back into the skin, there are some great creams – some of which I told you about recently – and you can also get it in injectable form, mixed with antioxidants and other ingredients.
Profhilo is in a different league entirely, because it is both an injectable – meaning we can deliver all the goodness directly to the right place – and 100% hyaluronic acid. It’s HA in its purest form.
This “super skin booster” not only hydrates your skin from the inside out, getting rid of any crepey-ness, it increases your collagen and elastin production like nothing else I know, actually remodelling your skin, making it look far firmer.
Profhilo has the following unique abilities:
- It stimulates your body to produce 4 types of collagen (good collagen, not scar collagen)
- It enhances stem cell reproduction meaning your skin rejuvenates
- It restores both skin and fat layers to their natural state (it doesn’t enhance them, so do not worry, you won’t look puffed up!)
- It can treat the face, neck, lip lines, arms, decolletage, hands and tummies.
But it gets even better than that! Compared to “regular” skin boosters, Profhilo requires a tiny number of injections, and isn’t accompanied by the bruising that’s normally expected, so it’s comfortable.
You’ll see great results after just two five-minute treatments, so it is remarkably quick.
Profhilo is ideal for volumising areas that were previously challenging, such as the neck and forehead. It’s also terrific if you have had fillers which have nicely ironed out your fine lines, but you still want a better texture and glow.
Since its introduction to the market in Italy in 2015, more than 150,000 syringes have been sold…. An amazing statistic!
And now, we’re bringing it to the UK, too. I was really honoured to be asked to officially launch Profhilo in this country last week and am already teaching other doctors how to use it on a regular basis.
I can’t pretend we can stop or reverse the ageing process. But we can help you nip the signs in the bud. Unlike the people in Baz Luhrmann’s song, there’s no need for you to feel bad about the way you look today, compared to yesterday.
If your skin is beginning to suffer from laxity and needs a good dose of hydration, click the enquiry button or give us a call! A course of Profhilo (4mls) costs £850, and you’ll also get a special bonus – a free hyaluronic acid serum worth £75.
Let’s make you one of the first in this country to benefit from Profhilo.
