What makes Cool Laser different is its ability to resurface the skin at a range of treatment intensities, allowing recovery time to be matched more closely to the degree of correction required. By precisely removing damaged surface skin and stimulating collagen remodelling, it can improve texture, tone, fine lines and overall skin quality, with results continuing to develop over the following months.

Treatment can also be adapted for delicate areas such as around the eyes and mouth. Depending on the depth and intensity selected, recovery may range from around 24–48 hours of redness after lighter treatments to approximately 7–14 days following more intensive resurfacing.

Cool Laser can be used across a wide range of skin tones, although treatment settings, preparation and aftercare are adjusted according to individual skin type and pigmentation risk. The aim is clearer, smoother and healthier-looking skin while maintaining a natural appearance.

I was quite nervous before having my first cool laser treatment - I’d opted for the medium setting so was worried about the pain factor! Naomi soon allayed my fears with a new super duper numbing cream. The whole treatment (face & neck) from start to finish was honestly pain free & comfortable. Straight afterwards, I was very red & sunburnt looking - the cream that was supplied for after care did really help with this though. The next day this had calmed a lot and I was back to normal after about 3 days.

Is Cool Laser the right laser for your skin?

Cool Laser is particularly useful when skin texture, fine lines, sun damage or superficial scarring are the main concerns. If pigmentation, redness or deeper skin damage is more prominent, another laser — or a combination of treatments — may be more appropriate.

Brown pigmentation, sun spots or melasma

PicoStar targets unwanted pigment with ultra-short laser pulses and may be more appropriate when colour rather than texture is the main concern. Melasma needs careful assessment because laser can sometimes worsen pigmentation.

VBEAM is a vascular laser designed to target redness and unwanted blood vessels rather than resurface the skin.
