What is Profhilo?

As we age, our bodies produce less collagen and elastin, the two proteins necessary for our skin to hold its shape. This inevitably leads to wrinkles and sagging. Profhilo is a regenerative anti-ageing treatment that uses highly purified hyaluronic acid to reactivate your stem cells. This triggers production of new tissue in skin, fat and muscle, empowering your skin to renew itself from within.

Process

How does it work?

Profhilo involves injecting highly purified hyaluronic acid into strategic areas of the skin. When treating the face, we inject at 5 specific bio-aesthetic points (BAPs) on each side. The Profhilo spreads naturally from there and gets to work. It starts by hydrating the skin, then it stimulates collagen and elastin production to rejuvenate the skin from the inside out. It will also restore tissue strength by causing your stem cells to transform into new skin, fat and muscle cells. We can also modify the BAP technique to suit your individual needs.

    Profhilo is a ‘skin remodelling’ treatment that cures wrinkles instead of filling them. It hydrates, tightens and lifts your skin, increases its firmness and elasticity, and improves skin tone, texture and radiance.

    There is a mild stinging sensation with each pin prick lasting no more than a minute.

    Most patients report seeing results the next day (although a small number say they have to wait a couple of months before they notice).
