You’ll always know what to expect
Your doctor will create a treatment programme that is specially tailored to your needs. In an average scenario, Injections are typically administered over a series of three appointments that take place over several months. The actual number of injections and appointments is highly specific to each individual undergoing a Sculptra treatment. This is generally based on how much collagen has been lost along with a small handful of other considerations.
The injection itself goes just below the skin where collagen is the scaffolding supporting the skin. The main component Poly-L lactic acid has a 50-year history of medical success.
After your Sculptra treatment it's very important that you massage your treatment area as this will prevent the Sculptra particles from gathering together and producing new collagen and skin tissue in collections. Results
How will I feel?
Immediately after treatment you may experience some redness, swelling and bruising but side effects are usually mild and subside within a few days. In the majority of cases most people are able to return to their normal daily activities immediately after the injections.
